Angel Francia is a full-time artist and illustrator based in the sunny Philippines. Her love for art began at a young age, spending afternoons drawing in their garden, making crafts, and borrowing origami books from the school library to recreate at home. She loves turning her little ideas into something creative. Creativity has always been a constant part of her life.
In 2016, she graduated as a medical technologist and worked in the medical field while taking on illustration commissions in her spare time.
In 2023, she decided to slowly pursue her passion for art after leaving her previous career. Beyond illustration, Angel also explored creating handmade air-dry clay pieces, which she sold online.
In 2024, her brand, ANGEL STUDIOS, which she co-owns with her partner, made its physical debut at its first art market pop-up, introducing her work to a wider audience.
Art and animals have always held a special place in her heart. Later that year, after a devastating typhoon affected her hometown, ANGEL STUDIOS launched an Art for a Cause initiative, creating custom portraits of both people and pets to help raise funds for affected families. The project also honored Angel’s beloved pets that were lost during the disaster. This meaningful experience eventually led to the introduction of live portrait illustration as one of ANGEL STUDIO’s signature services.
In 2025, Angel officially became a full-time artist. Since then, she has collaborated with brands, businesses, and organizations including SM Mall of Asia, Kindred, NYMA, Adopt Biyaya, Cooper’s Coffee Haus and OPM Artists, while continuing to work with local and international clients on illustration, branding, and custom art projects.
Angel firmly believes that creativity has no limits. She lives by the idea that anything can become art - whether it’s a quiet everyday moment, a meaningful memory, or a simple idea wanting to be brought to life. Through her work, she hopes to tell stories, celebrate life’s little moments, and create pieces that people can cherish for years to come.
